The following divisions will use a Volley-Lite ball while others not listed here will use a heavy ball.

The breakdown for volleyball is as follows:

  • 3rd-4th:  6 feet
  • 5th-6th:  7 feet
  • 7th-8th:  7 feet 4 1/8 inches

Matches can be played at any time the host organization has available gym time. That being said, most matches are scheduled on Friday evening, any time on Saturday, or 1:00 or later on Sunday. In some cases, matches will be playing during the week on Thursday evenings if that is the preference of the host organization.

All teams will play in a season ending tournament that will be single elimination format. Teams may be grouped in divisions for the tournament that look slightly different than the divisions they played in during the regular season in order to make the tournament more competitive.

Teams will play 10 regular season matches in both our fall and spring leagues. In addition, all teams are eligible to play in the league-sponsored post-season single elimination tournament.
